Through July 22 - Cajon Cruise Wednesdays. A midweek extravaganza that showcases a
vibrant collection of both classic and modern vehicles. Attendees
can also indulge in live music, delectable food, and a warm,
community atmosphere under the neon lights.

not-so-far-away, the story of your San Diego summer begins. The
San Diego County Fair is the greatest story our community has ever
told. It’s a tale of food, fun, friends, family, laughter,
tradition,music, amazement, and pure, unbridled joy.
Del Mar Fairgrounds July 4 - America The Beautiful: 250 Byron Stripling’s America The Beautiful: 250
brings the sound of our nation to life with powerful works that
reflect the beauty, complexity, and spirit of America –
past, present, and future. Featuring beloved classics like “Puttin’on the Ritz,” “Yankee Doodle
Dandy,” and the triumphant “Stars and Stripes
forever,” this celebratory program traces the musical
moments that have defined the American story.
7:30pm / The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park July 7 - Tanabata Festival Originating from Chinese folklore, Tanabata is a
holiday that celebrates the meeting of Orihime and Hikoboshi!
Separated by the Milky Way, the stars Orihime and Hikoboshi are
able to meet once per year on the seventh day of the seventh
month. This year’s festival will be full of kid-friendly
fun, such as games, performances, crafts and food!
10am-4pm / Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum July 11 - Marine Band San Diego Summer Concert Come celebrate 250 years of the U.S. Marine Corps with an evening of amazing live music by the 35-piece Marine Band ensemble as they pay tribute to works by iconic American composers. 7pm / Little Italy, Piazza della Famiglia July 11 - Cat Cafe This event will feature adoptable kittens only and is a great opportunity to meet your future furry best friend. Coffee and snacks. Our organization and other LGBTQIA+ serving nonprofits and organizations host community events, programs, and fundraisers throughout the year that aim to further our mission of fostering pride, equality, and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities locally, nationally, and globally. July 12 - Seaport Village 5K A beautiful route through Seaport Village with views of the bay, live energy, and a supportive atmosphere. All registered participants will receive a race bib, custom event shirt, finisher medal, and chip timing. July 17-19 - Tramonto Music Festival Whether attending one evening or the entire weekend, the festival offers audiences an unforgettable musical experience where world-class artistry meets the beauty of the Encinitas coastline. All tickets will be held at Will Call. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Plans are underway for a street fair, and live entertainment throughout the day. Portwood Pier Plaza July 18- Low Tide Ride and Stride Participants can walk, run, or bike along a 5K beach course during low tide. Participants can choose from a range of endurance options, including 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, and the unique HEFFTY Half Marathon, all run counter-clockwise around the park. 7pm / Montgomery-Waller Community Park July 25 - Sip of Julian This event showcases local tasting rooms, each offering samples of their hand crafted beverages paired with small bites. 11am-5pm / Julian Chamber Of Commerce July 25-26 - Lake Poway Family Campout Enjoy outdoor fun in a family-friendly environment. Activities include: guided evening hikes, campfire with s’mores, and a family-pleasing magic/comedy show.
